During my recent Easter getaway with friends at Team Watzmann-Haus Michael, I found it to be an ideal base for exploring the stunning Berchtesgaden National Park, just 7 km away. The double room we stayed in was spacious and boasted a lovely balcony, perfect for soaking in the alpine scenery after our hiking excursions. What stood out were the communal areas, particularly the terrace where we enjoyed evenings under the stars, accompanied by a good barbecue. The guest house also offers bike hire, which allowed us to cycle through the picturesque surroundings, enhancing our experience of this enchanting region. With its proximity to cultural gems like Mozart's Birthplace and beautiful hiking trails, this charming hotel caters to adventure seekers and nature lovers alike, making it a nice stay.
